Strontium Fluoride
Physical Properties: white colorless cubic crystalline powder, slightly soluble in water, soluble in hydrochloric acid, insoluble in hydrofluoric acid, ethanol and acetone. It belongs to the cubic crystal system, stable in air and can be acid decomposition. Density 4.24, melting point 1473 ºC, boiling point 2489 ºC. Air> 1000 ºC into strontium oxide.
Uses: Can be used in the manufacture of optical glass and laser using a single crystal. Can also be used in the pharmaceutical industry and daily chemical industry, such as for anti-caries toothpaste additive, flux, co-solvent. Advanced electronic components.
